Kevin Chappell returns to Top 12, Andrew Landry debuts on Ryder Cup USA standings
There wasn't much movement in this week's Ryder Cup USA ranking as eight of the top 12 players were off this week. But the CareerBuilder Challenge allowed the opportunity for a few players to gain points and move up in the points race.
Most notably, Kevin Chappell's T-6 performance moved him back into the top 12 after he dropped to No. 14 last week. Charley Hoffman, who was at No. 12 is now at 14.
Andrew Landry, who fell to Jon Rahm in a four-hole, sudden-death playoff at PGA West, makes his debut on the Ryder Cup USA ranking this week at No. 19.
U.S. players will continue to gain points in 2018 at every non-opposite PGA Tour event, WGC and major through the 100th PGA Championship at Bellerive, concluding on August 12, 2018.
